Our story
From a high school in Soacha to the Voces stage
Sharon and Edwin met in high school and won the Ser Pilo Paga scholarship. On June 26, 2025 she messaged him on WhatsApp with an idea. Months later, CiudadanIA took first place at Voces Credicorp.

CiudadanIA guides people with artificial intelligence based on Colombian law. When a case needs a lawyer, the person chooses who to share it with. If they choose you, the case arrives organized in your portal.
Frequently asked questions
Does CiudadanIA replace a lawyer?
No. It guides you and helps you prepare simple documents. For complex cases we recommend seeking legal advice; you can also go to university legal clinics or the Ombudsman's Office (Defensoría del Pueblo).
How much does it cost?
During this pilot stage it is free for invited users, with an assigned balance of queries.
What happens with what I write?
Your conversations are private. The personal data you put in a document (name, ID number, address) is not sent to the artificial intelligence assistant: it is only used to complete the document.
How do I get an invitation?
Invitations come through partner organizations and campaigns. If you have a code, use it when you create your account.
