How it works
From sign-up to your first case, in four steps.
1. Sign up
Fill in the form with your professional card, areas, cities and terms, and accept the directory terms.
2. Confirm your email
We send you a link to confirm the email is yours.
3. We verify your details
The team reviews your professional card. If anything is missing we ask by email; if all is well, you are verified.
4. Activate your portal
You get a link to create your password. From there you see the cases people share with you.

Requirements
- A valid professional card issued in Colombia.
- Your own email address: it will be your portal username.
- Accept the directory terms and the data processing authorization.
If a partner lawyer gave you a code, enter it in the form: it speeds up the review.
Frequently asked questions
Does CiudadanIA replace lawyers?
No. It guides people and helps them understand their situation. When a case needs representation or professional advice, the assistant says so and the person can look for a lawyer in the directory.
How do people choose a lawyer?
They see verified lawyers who cover their area and city, with their format and terms, and decide who to share their case with.
What information about the person do I receive?
Only what they agreed to share: their case summary, the laws consulted, the conversation without unnecessary personal data and the channels through which they agree to be contacted.
How long does verification take?
It depends on the review of your professional card. We email you if we need anything else and when your account is verified.
I signed up but I have no password
You create your password with the link sent when your sign-up is verified. If it expired or you lost it, write to us and we will send a new one.
